Available here is a new reproduction of the classic vintage Airline pickguard found on many vintage Airline models. We refer to this pickguard as style #4. You would use this pickguard if you wanted to position your volume and tone knobs in the vintage spec location found below the pickups on models that had one volume and one tone control - it is predrilled for the pots. The pickguard also has been cut to accept a three way switch. The relief for the bridge has also been removed on both sides of the pickguard to allow bridge positioning anywhere on the guitar for proper intonation. The pickguard has been updated and created in a versatile transparent plastic that ships with a white backing that you can remove you can remove (or keep it on for an easy white finish). Another option is to reverse spray paint for a professional looking finish. This auction includes a set of pickguards (two total - upper and lower) and mounting screws.
