History
The original Res-O-Glas fiberglass guitars were produced by the Valco Guitar Company primarily between 1962 and 1967. Valco manufactured these guitars under various names including their own product lines Supro, National, Atlas and Valco as well as several house brand names including Airline (Montgomery Ward) and English Electronic's Tonemaster.
Vintage Res-O-Glas Guitars have graced the hands of some of the greatest players of all time. Eric Clapton, J.B. Hutto, Jack White, Billy Gibbons, Lil' Ed, David Lindley, John Fogerty and John Entwistle have all owned various vintage models throughout their careers.

Res-O-Glas Reborn
What happens when you get a couple of industry guitar vets together? They talk about guitars...and eventually, they talk about how sad it is that there aren't any affordable US-made guitars any more. They also gripe about how the best vintage guitar examples are most likely in the hands of "collectors" rather than working Musicians due to the high prices vintage guitars now command.
Well, we decided to do something about it... and in the process have brought back a true American original guitar at an affordable price.
Res-O-Glas started over five years ago when we began the quest to secure the Res-O-Glas Trademark. We then sought out the best local manufactures and guitar builders to help us with our project. In the meantime, we perfected our online selling skills completing more than 1000 successful eBay sales transactions while maintaining a perfect 100% feedback rating.
